Baltic Blue Pothos (Epipremnum pinnatum)
The Baltic Blue Pothos (Epipremnum pinnatum 'Baltic Blue') is a fast-growing tropical vine prized for its deep blue-green foliage and dramatic leaf splits that develop as the plant matures. Its rich color and climbing or trailing habit make it a beautiful addition to shelves, hanging baskets, or moss poles. Easy to care for and quick to grow, the Baltic Blue is a great choice for both beginner and experienced plant lovers.
Fun Fact: Baltic Blue Pothos is often confused with Cebu Blue Pothos, but there are a few key differences. Baltic Blue has darker, richer blue-green leaves and develops its signature splits (fenestrations) at a much younger age. Cebu Blue (Epipremnum pinnatum 'Cebu Blue') has lighter, silvery-blue foliage and typically needs to climb and mature before its leaves begin to split.
Light: Bright, indirect light. It will tolerate medium light, though brighter conditions encourage faster growth and larger leaves.
Water: Allow the top 2–3 inches of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and let excess water drain away.
Soil: A well-draining indoor potting mix with added bark or perlite for improved aeration.
Bloom: Rarely blooms indoors and is grown primarily for its attractive foliage.
Propagation: Easily propagated from stem cuttings rooted in water or directly in moist potting mix.
