Begonia Maculata

The begonia Maculata, commonly called the Poka Dot begonia because of it's large silvery dots that pattern the front of the leaf. It is a deep forest green color with a bright contrasting red on the back of the leaf. Fun fact: Rumor has it, the famous shoe designer Christian Louboutin designed his famed red bottomed heels after the Maculata! Begonias like very bright, but indirect light. They love humidity and do well in a shady area or on a covered patio. They like to be watered once the soil has dried out about 80%. Available in 6" pot
