Elephant Bush (Portulacaria afra variegata)
The Elephant Bush, Rainbow Bush, and also known as the Dwarf Jade plant, the plant's common name is due to it being a source of food for elephants. This is a bushing succulent with reddish brown, woody stems covered with small, rounded, fleshy leaves. The leaves range from green to white and bright green to cream, if variegated. Small, star-shaped, lavender-pink flowers cluster at the ends. Prefers bright light to full sun and to dry out between waterings. Available in 4" pots.
