Plant Division & Repotting 02/24/26

If you’ve ever wondered when (and how) to divide your plants or what really goes into a successful repotting, this class is for you! In our Plant Division + Repotting workshop, we’ll focus on techniques that help your plants grow fuller, healthier, and happier. We’ll talk about how to identify when a plant is ready to be divided, the different types of root systems and how to work with each, and step-by-step methods for safely separating and replanting. We’ll also cover when and how to prune or cut back your plants to encourage bushier growth and keep them looking their best. Plus, you’ll learn repotting fundamentals—choosing the right soil, pot size, and tools, loosening rootbound plants, and properly setting your plant up in its new home.

This is a fully hands-on class: you’ll divide real plants, repot them yourself, practice light pruning techniques, and leave with your newly potted divisions plus the confidence to do it again at home.
