Yellowstone Sansevieria "Dracaena trifasciata ‘Yellowstone’"

Dracaena trifasciata ‘Yellowstone’ is a striking snake plant variety with tall, upright leaves featuring deep green centers and bright yellow margins. Its architectural shape and bold coloring make it an easy way to add a pop of color and texture to any space, while its naturally tough nature makes it wonderfully low maintenance.

FUN FACT: Sansevierias are CAM plants, meaning they take in carbon dioxide primarily at night rather than during the day. This unusual adaptation helps them conserve water, making them exceptionally well suited to dry conditions.
LIGHT: Bright, indirect light will help maintain its vibrant yellow coloring, but Yellowstone can tolerate lower-light conditions as well. Avoid prolonged intense direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
WATER: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, then allow all excess water to drain away. Sansevierias store water in their leaves and roots, so they are much more tolerant of being too dry than too wet.
SOIL: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix. Adding extra perlite or pumice can improve drainage and help prevent root rot.
